I really love these Wheel of Nutrition plates from designers Rui Pereira and Hafsteinn Juliusson for HAF. They combine two things i love very much, eating and pie charts. Each color corresponds to a food group with a key on the bottom of the plate.
Aurelie Tu has had quite the career in design at Nike, but I think Crafted Systems is her most exciting project to date. Crafted Systems is a line of felt products that includes bowls, place mats, table runners, lighting, and rugs. All of the products are made up modules of felt that are held together without glue or stitching. Aurelie works with the local YWCA to create these products which are on sale at the Portland based Relish.

This solves the problem of the dreaded Spoon-drop or the even worse, Spoon-drowning. I don’t know about you but I hate spoon-diving. Ok, I’m done.
