Love this hilariously funny set of illustrations by London based designer Aled Lewis. As part of a personal project, Make Something 365 in which he creates one work every day, Aled became fascinated with cheap plastic toys and the funny juxtapositions he could create with them when he paired them with words. Prints of Toy Stories are availble now on InPrint for $20.

Fun pop culture references, the Body Shop Mix Ups illustrations by Austin, TX based Brandon Ortwein are totally fun. Try to figure out the mix of movie vehicles. There are more on Brandon’s Flickr page or head over to his Society6 store to buy.
Beautiful work by Annemieke Beemster Leverenz, of the State Mottos Project fame where she illustrated the Washington State motto, for GrowNYC. Annemieke did the hand-lettered branding and iconography for the Grains Week program, a seven day collaborative programming to promote the re-emergence of local grains in the NY regional food system.

These brilliantly funny and interesting Accoutrements Posters by Nick Agin all started from the age old question of “Does the suit really make the man, or does the man make the suit?” The posters are Nick’s study on “personal accoutrements and their cultural associations” of a Chap (dapper man), a designer, and a pirate.
You can pick up The Chap, and the pirate over on Nick’s shop, screen printed, for only $20.00.

I really love this glow- in the dark Grace Potter & The Nocturnals poster by Baltimore, MD based designers and printers Tone Ink. The 20″ x 30″ four color screenprint was produced in a limited number and is on sale now for only $40.00!
Happy Presidents day everyone! I found this great letterpress presidents poster over on DesignMom. The Hail To The Chief poster by One Canoe Two is printed 11″x17″ in navy blue ink on Crane Lettra paper with a Chandler & Prince letterpress. Each president is represented in a cute little sketch, from Washington to Obama. The print can be yours for only $44.00, and really, whats a better way to spend Presidents day then buying great stuff?
Beautiful work by artist and designer Brian Everett. The City Towels come in two colorways, City Day and City Night and are screen printed in two colors on 100% cotton tea towels. The towels are 18″ x 26″ and are available for $15.00 over on Everett’s site.
Animal Alphabet from A-Z is another awesome project from the talented trio over at I Love Dust. Each letter is represented by an totally cute illustration of an animal who’s name starts with that letter. Monkey for M, Flamingo for F, you get the idea. There’s not much information about the project on their site but I love what I see and I can only image the rest.

Seriously awesome prints by artist and illustrator Holly Wales. The Motels series of three prints feature brilliant color illustrations of motel signage. I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with signs like these, making the sign designer in me cringe, but secretly loving them. Holly’s prints definitely speak to that love side!
The prints are 3 color Risograph prints that were done for the Turn Up The Colour exhibition at Analogue Books in Edinburgh and are available for £30 ($48) each or £80 ($128) for the set on Holly’s website.
