Yellow Card ’10 cushions by Rita Studio in collaboration with Daniel Julien are a series of cushions based on the American paper sizes: Letter, Legal, Tabloid, etc.. The envelope is made of felt and translucent tarp, and it’s filled with shredded paper. These cushions were part of the Yellow Card ’10 Exhibition at Atelier Punkt in Montreal.
Land Carpets are 100% New Zealand wool carpets by designer Florian Pucher. The series of 4 carpets ( USA, Europe, Netherlands, Africa ) are designed using various pile lengths and color to depict the landscape as if viewed from a plane above.

I really love this clever umbrella stand from chinese design team Innovo. The rain water run-off is collected in the tray and is used to grow grass. The grass slowly peeks up through the small holes in the top. This would be really fun, but I think you would have to live in an area that got a lot of rain fall, otherwise you would have to water the grass in a traditional manor.
The umbrella stand was part of a larger collection of works Innovo showed at Salone Satellite in Milan this years. The other works were Yi (wing), a collection of stools, Wu (nothing), A bamboo and rice paper lamp, and Bud, a line of traditional wicker furniture that has been embroidered by hand.
