The A-1 Scrabble set by recent BYU graduate Andrew Capener could possibly be the worlds most beautiful Scrabble set. The student project blends beautiful design and high-end packaging with a strong showing of typography classics like Helvetica. Seems like the perfect match to me, typography and Scrabble!
I’ve never loved playing an iPhone game as much as I love playing Colorbind . I’m pretty sure I wasted most of yesterday playing it.
Colorbind, by Daniel Lutz of Nonverbal, is a simple game that is actually pretty hard. The game’s interface is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen with beautiful use of texture and simple animations. The point of the game is to pass the ribbons over the corresponding color dots. Sounds easy right? Its not. As you progress through the game you have more ribbons and much more complex configurations of dots!
