I have just feel in love with a watch, the amazingly beautiful VIOD V03 watch by Swedish designer David Ericsson. The elegant form and minimalist approach to the design of the V03 watch are toped off by the simple pop of red of the watch’s alarm hand. Featuring a stainless steel construction, leather band, and mineral crystal face.
Available for 275 € (about $360.00) direct from VOID Watches.

I’m a big fan of Shwood sunglasses. I don’t own a pair… yet but I’m deeply considering changing that. As an experiment the guys at Shwood teamed up with Keith Hufnagel of HUF to create a pair of their awesome wood sunglasses out of skate deck wood. Skateboard Shade were born and the result is stunning. Unfortunately the shades aren’t available for sale but this guy has his fingers crossed.
These cool bags are by LA based Directional Motivation and are handmade using reclaimed materials. I love the idea that each of these bags has a story to tell through the left over smudges, stitch marks from a pocket long removed, wear patterns, hole, and even writing from a previous owner. The bags are available thought the Directional Motivation website.
The LAYERxlayer Fall Backpack is a fun, rugged looking canvas backpack that will fit all the items you need to carry and look good at the same time. Included in the bag is a removable envelope style pouch for interior organization. The bag is hand made to order and is available on the LAYERxlayer shop for $129.00. That red zipper is an awesome touch!
This visually stunning short documentary about Linen, by Benoit Millot, traces the life of one of the worlds most versatile fabrics. The movie is beautifully done in the style of Gary Hustwit (of Helvetica & Objectified fame) and follows flax, which is the fiber used to make linen, through the plant, production, garment creation and finally purchase.
How cute are these lace-in Superhero wings and lightning bolts from SmallFly. The wings & bolts will fit any children’s shoe size (as long as they have laces!) and SmallFly will even do custom orders for larger sizes as well. A pair costs somewhere between $17 and $24 and can be purchased from the SmallFly Etsy Store.
Beautiful genuine leather bill folds by New York based company Leffot. The bill fold is a simple die cut leather shape that when folded, securely holds your cash and cards. Its easy to open and is a much thinner option to the full size wallet. Two sizes are available, small ($95.00) for US dollars and large ($120.00) for foreign currencies.
I love these beautiful, simple, and colorful watches. The 100 Series watches by UniformWares comes in 7 different vibrant colors, and features an aircraft grade aluminum enclosure & 3 ATM water resistance. The watch comes with a rubber strap, but a leather upgrade is available.
The Poketo + Target collection launched yesterday and I can’t wait until I get to see some of the stuff in our local store. You can check out the entire collection on Poketo’s site or just visit your local Target. This stuff is almost as awesome as the list of top notch designers that were part of the project.
