Type Love: The Lost Type Co-Op
This weeks Type Love is less about a specific typeface and more about a really exciting new project. The Lost Type Co-Op is a new type foundry with a radical approach, a Pay-What-You-Want pricing system, meaning you decide the worth of the typeface to you and pay that. I’m not really sure this a good thing for the larger community but I am totally excited. The project, created by Riley Cran and Tyler Galpin, directs 100% of each sale directly to the designers and although the collection is small at the time of this posting the quality of the available typefaces seems to be high.
