Pivot by Raw Edges for Arco
Continuing on the heels of the extremely beautiful Pivot wall cabinet by Shay Alkalay of Raw Edges Design Studio, Arco has just launched the projects successor, Pivot Desk and Pivot Vanity. Shay Alkalay designed this continuum of his original project for Arco which was released at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile show during last weeks Milan Design Week. The Pivot Projects’ amazing opening mechanism unfolds the drawers open instead of sliding them out. The pieces seem organic in nature, unfurling like a flower, revealing the storage space within.
