The 2011 Studio On Fire Letterpress Calendar
Studio on Fire is an amazing letterpress studio based out of Minneapolis. Every year for the last 10 years they have published a desk calendar, and so far every year has been utterly beautiful, this year being no exception. The theme for this years calendar was “Letter Form Genus,” fitting with attention typography is getting these days.
The warm color palette and beautiful paper choices are met equally with 5 amazingly talented designers & illustrators. Every year, Studio On Fire asks 5 outside designers to design ten (two moths each) of the calendar’s spreads, with the last two being done in-house. This years designers are: Adam Garcia, Brian Gunderson, Jessica Hische, We Make It So, and Aesthetic Apparatus.
