Drexel Craft – Angular Collection
Designer Kurt Dexel of Dexel Crafted released his Angular Collection line at ICFF this year. The line, born out of a happy accident, is a beautiful statement on clean lines, classic construction, and elegant beauty. Kurt explains that while he was sorting through cut-offs in his shop he came across an angular piece of wood that he felt was really compelling. Thie piece of wood lead to the concept behind his Boomerang Chair and ultimately to the rest of the Angular Collection.
The line consists of many different pieces but shown at ICFF this year were the Angled Console Table, the Longboard Console, the Wedge Side Tables, and the Boomerang Love seat (not shown below). All of the pieces are hand build out of hardwoods ranging from quarter sawn Oak to Black Walnut and are finished with hand rubbed oil finishes.
