Google Chrome – Speed Test Video
Really awesome video by Google that shows us how fast Chrome is rather that just giving us some number none of us understands. To do this, Google set up 3 “experiments” in a Rube Goldberg style. They relate the speed of a page loading to a potato gun, sound waves, and lightning. The whole video is a lot of fun, plus there are some cool things happening on the monitor if you watch closely. Since the camera used is a high speed camera, you can actually see the pixels refreshing across the screen as the web page loads.
