Learn this: The luxury to fail.

An old mentor of mine taught me a lesson early in life.

The Luxury to Fail.

He explained that in life you are inevitably going to fail, it is what you do with that failure that really matters. Learn the lesson, figure out why you failed and what you can do to not make the same mistake.

Without understanding and experiencing failures, one can never really understand or experience successes.

This teaching is not new, nor is it profound, but knowing that I have the Luxury to Fail has allowed me to do things that I never imagined I would (even if I failed at doing them).

Everyone always says “I don’t have the luxury to fail” but Im pretty sure that they do.

Sorry for the rambling. Here is a little inspiration to fail:

All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

—Samuel Beckett from “Worstward Ho”
