Type Love: Wood Type Revival’s newest typeface, Concave Tuscan

Wood Type Revival, the amazing type foundry rescuing old type and making it play well in the digital age, has released a new typeface, with three more coming soon. Concave Tuscan is the new remake of the classic Tuscan-style typeface first seen under the name Gothic Tuscan. Gothic Tuscan was designed by William H. Page and it was first seen in James Conner’s Sons “Typographic Messenger” in November of 1866!

As always, the Wood Type Revival edition, Concave Tuscan is available for the low price of $15 on their website in two weights (Regular & Distressed) and as a web font on TypeKit.
